Amelia: This is amazing, doctor. I can't thank you enough. I had a pretty bad experience some 20-some odd years ago. Went to a chain type of a facility for dental work, and I had some implants, four on top, zirconia prosthetics. It was thoroughly explained to me what the process would be, He was dedicated to making sure I was going to get what I needed. They looked okay, but I couldn't function with them. Within a week, one fell out on top. And so I had these snap-in prosthetics four on the bottom. that we're using, and they would rock. They just would never bite. I told him what I was looking for, which were the titanium implants and the what the procedures was going to be, and it just worked exactly the way the doctor said it would work, and I felt very comfortable with that. The most important thing was functionality. To be able to have a set of teeth that I didn't have to think about, if I bite into this, is it going to come loose? Am I going to be embarrassed? Do I need to go and add some adhesive to it? Even that process, it's just not a feel-good type of process. I spent most of my adult life hiding my smile, and now I just feel good about myself for the first time since my early 20s. I feel like my teeth are really my teeth.
